PJSC “Ukrsotsbank” has announced the policy of development of regional network in 2011


One of the most important components of regional network development program is the differentiation of the way to serve the customers. Development of new alternative channel, integration of traditional and innovative way to buy and use bank’s products, setting of new outlets format to be closer to customer, quicker in answer to his needs, are the driver of the plan approved by the Bank board. The network optimization  is one of the phase UkrsotsBank will implement to become a easier to deal with interface for the current and new customers.. Specialists of the bank with the support of international expert and leveraging on Group best practices performed  a complex analysis of the market for each area of presence, defining the target coverage and the actions to put in place to improve customers service level and economic performances.  UniCredit Group standard and innovative idea have been integrated to define the new investments that will make UkrSotsbank the first bank to be choose by the market.

MariaNikitova, responsible for Network Development, says that closing of some outlets with low number of clients and low level of service will impact positively the bank performances also in term of customers satisfaction. Focusing the investment and the efforts on more advanced point of sales and on innovative service delivering devices (like last generation ATMs, new internet banking and mobile banking solutions, new format point of service) is already the trend in the most advanced financial market and UkrsotsBank can become a leader in this area.

Usage of the alternative sales channels instead of the traditional outlets will allow the bank’s costumers to benefit from:

  • significant increase of number of services (including foreign currency loan repayments, activities with deposits, money transfers, utility  charges, etc.);which can be used by the customers without going to  the bank’s outlet
  • reduced time to perform specific transactions thanks to the opening by the bank of special kiosks for fast self-service;
  • higher quality level for the high value service that imply direct personal interface
  • better and more innovative service provided in the existing and new zones of USB self-service.

There will be new opportunity for outlets opening in the future, say Maxim Petrenko, head os Sales in the Retail Division: the new locations will be identified according to the customers service approach. And always in the framework of a perfect integration of all the channels with the goal to provide value to all the stakeholders – add Mauro Maschio, head of Retail Division.

The renovated Ukrsotsbank emerged on 31 October 2016 as a result of strategic deal whereby 99.9% of Ukrsotsbank shares have been transferred from UniCredit Group to ABH Holdings S.A. (АВНН) in exchange for a minority 9.9% stake in ABHH. Thus, the bank has combined 26-year-old traditions of Ukrsotsbank’s client-centric attitude, European quality of service inherent to UniCredit, as well as international banking expertise of ABHH in a number of European countries including CIS. Thanks to the successful synthesis and synergy of the two assets of ABHH in Ukraine, Ukrsotsbank and Alfa-Bank, the banking market of Ukraine will see the rise of a new stronger financial institution. This, in turn, will spur up technological advance, increase efficiency, improve quality of service for the clients, reduce cost of banking services whereas their range will inevitably expand.

The extensive retail network of Ukrsotsbank consists of 237 branches, its headcount reaching nearly 5 thousand employees.
