UniCredit Bank services the deposits of customers in Eastern Ukraine delay-free

UniCredit Bank continues uninterrupted service of customers' deposits in the East of Ukraine, despite the change in work schedules in some branches.

"Unfortunately, for the safety of employees and customers, we have been forced to suspend work of some branches. Nevertheless, in each city branches, where customers can get a full range of services, are working. Changes in the schedule will not affect the performance of operations, and of course, we do not introduce any restrictions on the deposits of our clients.

Due to the irregular supply of cash, there may be some limitations on the early withdrawal of deposits. However, if the customer has notified the bank about termination of deposit agreement in a few days, he/her obtains money without any problems. Despite all the difficulties, we try to provide maximum comfort for our customers, "- said Lubomyr Punchev, Director of Retail Center at UniCredit Bank.

Furthermore, UniCredit Bank temporarily limited operations on cash withdrawals at ATMs in the South-East of the country in order to ensure access to cash for all bank customers. These measures related solely to the tense situation in the region and possible interruption in cash delivery. Thus, the amount of cash withdrawal at an ATM for one card is set at the level of UAH 7000 per day for bank customers in Kramatorsk, Donetsk, Mariupil and Lugansk. And - UAH 1000 for other cities of Donetsk and Lugansk regions.

We are stressing that these measures are taken exclusively to provide all the bank’s clients with ATM service. For the same purposes, cash withdrawals at UniCredit Bank’s ATMs using cards of other banks is fully limited.

To recall, due to the unstable situation in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, UniCredit Bank has suspended the work of several branches in the region. Customers can contact the nearest branch, use the self-service terminals, Internet banking, etc.

Ukrsotsbank is one of the largest universal banks of Ukraine, operating in the local market since 1990. The bank offers full range of services to individuals and corporate clients.

The renovated Ukrsotsbank emerged on 31 October 2016 as a result of strategic deal whereby 99.9% of Ukrsotsbank shares have been transferred from UniCredit Group to ABH Holdings S.A. (АВНН) in exchange for a minority 9.9% stake in ABHH. Thus, the bank has combined 26-year-old traditions of Ukrsotsbank’s client-centric attitude, European quality of service inherent to UniCredit, as well as international banking expertise of ABHH in a number of European countries including CIS. Thanks to the successful synthesis and synergy of the two assets of ABHH in Ukraine, Ukrsotsbank and Alfa-Bank, the banking market of Ukraine will see the rise of a new stronger financial institution. This, in turn, will spur up technological advance, increase efficiency, improve quality of service for the clients, reduce cost of banking services whereas their range will inevitably expand.

The extensive retail network of Ukrsotsbank consists of 237 branches, its headcount reaching nearly 5 thousand employees.
