UniCredit Bank became the general sponsor of the art auction CLASSIC & CONTEMPORARY ART

UniCredit Bank acted as the general sponsor of the auction of classical and contemporary art works CLASSIC & CONTEMPORARY ART, which took place on September 23 at the "M17" exhibition centre in Kyiv.

The auction organized by the "Golden Section" auction house exhibited 110 works by artists of Ukrainian and Russian emigration, representatives of the classical art of the late XIX – the first half of XX century, Ukrainian masters of the Soviet period, representatives of the sixties and promising young contemporary artists.

This year UniCredit Bank celebrates 25th anniversary of its activity in Ukraine, during which the bank has consistently supported social and cultural projects and art initiatives. One of the results of this support is a unique payment card World Elite MasterCard from UniCredit Bank. The painting "Carpathian landscape” by contemporary Ukrainian artist Anatoliy Kryvolap was used in design of this card. In addition to the financial operations and various bonuses, the owners of World Elite MasterCard can take advantage of advice on investments in works of art from experts of world art community.

The tradition of supporting the development of art is inherent not only to the Ukrainian bank, but also to the whole group UniCredit. For example, in July, UniCredit Group opened UniCredit Pavilion near its headquarters in Milan, where about 70 works of UniCredit Art Collection, one of the most significant corporate art collections in Europe, were exhibited for the first time.

Ukrsotsbank is one of the largest universal banks of Ukraine, operating in the local market since 1990. The bank offers full range of services to individuals and corporate clients.

The renovated Ukrsotsbank emerged on 31 October 2016 as a result of strategic deal whereby 99.9% of Ukrsotsbank shares have been transferred from UniCredit Group to ABH Holdings S.A. (АВНН) in exchange for a minority 9.9% stake in ABHH. Thus, the bank has combined 26-year-old traditions of Ukrsotsbank’s client-centric attitude, European quality of service inherent to UniCredit, as well as international banking expertise of ABHH in a number of European countries including CIS. Thanks to the successful synthesis and synergy of the two assets of ABHH in Ukraine, Ukrsotsbank and Alfa-Bank, the banking market of Ukraine will see the rise of a new stronger financial institution. This, in turn, will spur up technological advance, increase efficiency, improve quality of service for the clients, reduce cost of banking services whereas their range will inevitably expand.

The extensive retail network of Ukrsotsbank consists of 237 branches, its headcount reaching nearly 5 thousand employees.
