UniCredit: Appointments in CIB and CEE Divisions

Starting from April 1st, new managerial changes are effective in CIB and CEE perimeters.

CIB Division

CIB Division expands its top management structure with two Deputy Heads reporting to Gianni Franco Papa, Head of the Division and Deputy General Manager of UniCredit:

- Olivier Khayat, in his current role of Deputy Head of the CIB Division, will oversee F&A (Financing & Advisory) as well as Markets & Research Product Lines.

- Gianfranco Bisagni, currently Head of CEE CIB at UniCredit Bank Austria AG and Deputy Head of CEE Division, will join the CIB Division as Deputy Head of CIB and ExCo member to take on direct responsibility for the commercial activities of a newly defined and enlarged CIB International Network.  This structure will cover existing geographies as well as exploring new ones in order to better serve the needs of our clients. Therefore it will comprise our operations in the Americas, Asia-Pacific, Middle East and North Africa (MENA) as well as all our branches, representative offices and activities around the world.

In addition, Mr. Bisagni will also take the leadership of the Global Transaction Banking Product Line, which fits perfectly taking into account the international approach of any given GTB activity.

CEE Division

Enrico Minniti will take over Gianfranco Bisagni's role as Head of CEE CIB at UniCredit Bank Austria AG, which serves corporate customers in 13 countries of Central & Eastern Europe.

Mr. Minniti, currently Head of Financing & Advisory CEE at UniCredit Bank Austria AG, will report in his new position to Carlo Vivaldi, Deputy CEO and Head of CEE Division of UniCredit Bank Austria AG.

Further, Andrea Diamanti has been appointed, also effective from April 1st as Head of Financing CEE at UniCredit Bank Austria AG, succeeding Enrico Minniti.

As far as Retail is concerned, Mauro Maschio - current Head of CEE Retail at UniCredit Bank Austria AG – will take over a higher role within CEE Division to be communicated shortly.

At the same time, Csilla Ihasz, so far Head of Commercial Development at UniCredit Bank Austria AG, will succeed Mr Maschio as Head of CEE Retail at UniCredit Bank Austria AG. Mauro Maschio and Csilla Ihasz appointments will be effective from May 1st.

Ukrsotsbank is one of the largest universal banks of Ukraine, operating in the local market since 1990. The bank offers full range of services to individuals and corporate clients.

The renovated Ukrsotsbank emerged on 31 October 2016 as a result of strategic deal whereby 99.9% of Ukrsotsbank shares have been transferred from UniCredit Group to ABH Holdings S.A. (АВНН) in exchange for a minority 9.9% stake in ABHH. Thus, the bank has combined 26-year-old traditions of Ukrsotsbank’s client-centric attitude, European quality of service inherent to UniCredit, as well as international banking expertise of ABHH in a number of European countries including CIS. Thanks to the successful synthesis and synergy of the two assets of ABHH in Ukraine, Ukrsotsbank and Alfa-Bank, the banking market of Ukraine will see the rise of a new stronger financial institution. This, in turn, will spur up technological advance, increase efficiency, improve quality of service for the clients, reduce cost of banking services whereas their range will inevitably expand.

The extensive retail network of Ukrsotsbank consists of 237 branches, its headcount reaching nearly 5 thousand employees.
